Schuyler County youth are working hard to put the finishing touches on projects they will enter at the Schuyler County Youth Showcase later this month. The public is cordially invited to view the exhibits on Saturday, July 14 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the newly renovated Youth Site on Meads Hill Road in Watkins Glen. In addition to projects such as sewing, cooking, woodworking and photography, the Showcase will also include a two-day horse show (July 13-14), a rabbit show and a poultry show. On Saturday, a chicken barbeque beginning at 1 p.m., a petting zoo, a silent auction and a talent show will add to the festivities.All Schuyler County youth between the ages of 8- 19 are eligible to participate in the Showcase and can pick up Showcase guidelines at the 4-H office at the Rural Urban Center in Montour Falls. The deadline for entries is Monday, July 2. Judging will take place on Friday, July 13 from 2:30- 6:30 pm.
