In Waterloo the school budget was approved by a vote of 278 to 230. All three propositions were approved, including the plan to spend $165,000 for a new playground at the LaFayette elementary school. Thomas O’Connor, John Butlak and Michael Pfeifer were elected to three year school board terms, Dominic Christopher was elected to a two year term.In Seneca Falls the 22-million dollar budget was approved by a vote of 332 to 186.In Romulus the 9.7-million dollar budget was approved 213 to 122. The bus proposition was approved and elected to the school board were Anna Mirgan, Kristine Somerville, and Rhonda Dickenson.In the South Seneca School District, the 16.7-million dollar budget was approved by a vote of 251 to 114, the bus proposition was approved and Betsy Dreyer and Carl Pell were elected to the school board.
