Seneca sheriff deputies arrested Matthew C. Couch, 18, of 4887 Route 96A in Varick, on a charge of Harassment in the second degree. The charge stems from an incident where Couch allegedly punched a male victim twice in the face causing minor bleeding while at a Town of Varick business. Couch was arraigned in the Varick Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1,000 cash bail/$2,000 secured bond. Couch is to reapper in the Varick Town Court on May 10th, 2007 at 7:30pm.
