Seneca County Sheriff Deputies investigated a personal injury accident that occurred on St. Rt. 5 near the Cayuga County line in the Town of Tyre. Sheriff Deputies report that a vehicle heading east bound driven by Walter J. Levy age 60 of 2 Spyglass Ridge Ithaca, NY failed to keep right as he drove into the west bound lane hitting a vehicle head on driven by John A. Palmer Jr. age 36 of 2130 Deiter Rd. Wayland NY. Palmers vehicle was forced into the eastbound lane where he struck a third vehicle driven by Nicole L. Branch age 31 of 1909 Black Brook Rd. Seneca Falls, NY. Levy’s vehicle came to rest in the eastbound lane, Branch’s vehicle came to rest in the west bound lane. Palmers vehicle continued to cross the eastbound lane, struck a ditch and rolled over. Palmer was treated at the scene for a complaint of back pain. Levy, Branch and Branch’s five year old daughter Carley Branch, who was a passanger were uninjured. All three vehicles sustianed heavy damage and were towed from the scene. Levy was issued a uniform traffic ticket for failure to keep right. Levy is to appear on May 29 2007 at 7:00 pm at the Town of Tyre Court to answer to the charge.
