Attempted burglary in Seneca Falls – FingerLakes1.com Archive

Seneca County Sheriff Leo T Connolly reports that Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on King Rd in the Town of Seneca Falls for a burglary in progress. A neighbor was passing the residence when he spotted a suspicious vehicle in the driveway and called 911. Two 15 year old Waterloo males ran from the scene and were apprehended about an hour later on Clinton St in the Village of Seneca Falls. Adam T Stamp, age 18, of 2395 Reed Rd was still at the residence in the driveway when police arrived. Sheriff’s Investigators charged Stamp with burglary in the second degree and criminal mischief in the third degree, alleging that about $400 in damaged was caused to a door which was kicked open to gain entry. He was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and released on pre-trial release and is to re appear at a later date in the Town of Seneca Falls Court. The two 15 year old males were released to their parents. Juvenile Delinquent charges for burglary in the second degree and criminal mischief in the third degree are pending against the two juveniles. Nothing was taken from the residence. The New York State Police and the Seneca Falls Police Department assisted with the apprehension of the 15 year old males.
