Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Master Gardeners will be hosting a plant & hypertufa sale to raise funds to support their program. The sale will take place at Seneca County CCE’s Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 7th, 2006 from 9AM to 3PM at Seneca County Fairgrounds, Floral Hall, North & Swift Streets, Waterloo. A wide variety of perennials and bulbs for fall planting will be available for purchase. Iris, daylilies, grape hyacinth, snow on the mountain, black eyed susan, feverfew and various houseplants are just some examples of what you might find. Also for sale will be hypertufa containers and leaf forms, corn husk wreaths, fall themed coasters, tree, herb and wildflower posters and various other fall decorations. Please stop by and buy some very reasonably priced plants for your fall planting and crafts for decorating. All proceeds will benefit the Master Gardener Program at Seneca County CCE. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your lawn or garden questions also. There will also be informational gardening handouts and gardening themed books for purchase.
