A Port Byron man was ordered to remain in jail on $100,000 bail after being arraigned today in Onondaga County Court on charges he tried to kill his ex-girlfriend outside her place of employment in Baldwinsville in April.David J. Jones, 38, was arraigned on charges of attempted second-degree murder, first-, second- and third-degree assault, first-degree criminal use of a firearm, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree stalking.He’s accused of firing a shotgun blast at Anne Marshall as she sat in her car outside the Syracuse Home Association April 1. After the shot missed her and Marshall ran from the car, Jones is accused of clubbing her in the head with the shotgun.Marshall, 48, of Jordan, broke a hand and cut her head. Jones is due back in court Sept. 15.
