CBS Evening News with Bob Schieffer will feature Ithaca, New York and it’s claim to be the home of the ice cream sundae. CBS News correspondent Steve Hartman will get the scoop in Ithaca Friday when he interviews city officials about the current battle with Two Rivers, Wisconsin over which city can claim the cool title.Every Friday CBS presents three story pitches and viewrs get to vote for the story they think sounds most interesting. The Ithaca-Two Rivers story beat out a story about a boat race in Rhode Island that takes place without boats, and summer camps for both kids and parents.Fred Bonn from the Ithaca-Tompkins County Vistors and Convention Bureau will be a guest on the Finger Lakes Morning News with Ted Baker Wednesday morning at 7:50am.The Finger Lakes Morning News can be heard on AM1110, 1240, 1550, and 1590.
