A student at the New York Chiropractic College is now back in Pennsylvania, arraigned yesterday on a murder charge. 26 year old Mark Wells waived his extradition hearing Monday before Seneca County Judge Dennis Bender, allowing Pennsylvania State Police take him back to the Lehigh Valley to face the homicide charge. Wells is charged with killing 49-year old James Schickling during a fight June 4th in Pennsylvania. Police say Schickling was attending his niece’s wedding reception when an argument erupted, and grew into a large fight. Schickling reportedly was not involved in the fight, but Wells, who was a member of the wedding party, punched Schickling in the head. Shickling fell to the floor, unconcious. He died a day and a half later. Wells was arrested last Thursday at the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, where he was taking exams.
