Garlock Sealing Technologies in Palmyra was evacuated this morning after a chemical spill.A small leak was found in a toluene pipe in a production building. An internal crew is handling the clean-up, though county emergency crews responded.Shortly after noon production had resumed and Garlock’s workers had returned to work. All of Garlock’s workers are to report for their shifts. Company officials say the total release of this spill was around 30 gallons. Garlock reports it had a similar, smaller leak about a year ago.
