Victorian Tea Party in Montour Falls

The Schuyler County Historical Society is now accepting advance reservations for its Annual Victorian Tea scheduled for Saturday, May 13th, the day before Mother’s Day. Attendees can choose between an 11:30 am and 1:30 pm seating choice. Fine teas, petite sandwiches and special pastries will be served in an elegant and romantic setting at the Society’s Brick Tavern Museum by white gloved waiters. The Victorian High Tea was considered the social event of the community during the late 19th century and has been a popular fund raiser for the Historical Society for fourteen consecutive years. This year special prizes will be given to the most authentic Victorian attired tea goers at each seating. Of course period costume is optional and just for fun. Tickets are $10 per adult and $5 for a child under 12. The event has also become a popular and fun Mother’s Day gift for many families.The Victorian Tea will be held at the Schuyler County Historical Society Museum, located on State Route 14, between the lights, in Montour Falls.For reservations call the Schuyler County Historical Society Museum at 607-535-9741 or stop in at the Museum.
