Local village elections were held Tuesday and the March elections usually feature many uncontested races and low voter turnout. That means every vote counts, and that is very true this morning in the Seneca County town of Lodi. The mayor’s race ended in a deadheat. Lloyd Brown and Harold Potts each picked up 14 votes. There are no absentee ballots in the race. Village officials say they will have to ask the county election commissioners what to do next. The village of Lodi has a population of 338 people.
