Waterloo Man Fires Rifle Into Neighbor’s Home

A Waterloo man was arrested Sunday night after he fired a hunting rifle inside his home. Waterloo Village Police arrested 34- year old Wayne Hoad of 82 Mill Street in the village. Hoad fired the rife inside his home, the bullet traveled out his bedroom window and entered a neighbors’ home , traveling through two walls, the kitchen and ending up in a utility room. The neighbor was home at the time , but was not injured. Hoad was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, and discharging a firearm with in the village limits. He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges in Waterloo Village Court on March 15th.
