Veterans Affairs Secretary James Nicholson will tour the Canandaigua VA hospital and campus on Monday. Congressman John Randy Kuhl this morning announced the itinerary for Monday’s visit.The visit includes a walking tour of the campus and a round table -stakeholder meeting. Kuhl says the visit is planned to give the Secretary a sense of how Canandaigua is taking excellent care of our nation’s veterans, and how vital the facility is to them and the community.The tentative intinerary is:10:45-11:00am – Media availablity with Secretary Nicholson and Rep. Kuhl.11:00-11:30am – Secretary Nicholson walking tour of the campus.11:45-12:30pm – Round Table Stakeholders meeting in the auditorium.1:00-1:15pm – Press Conference.
