Former Chiropratic Student Faces Arson Charges Today

The former chiropractic college student accused of setting fire last November to the Seneca Falls Town Office Building will be back in Seneca County Court today. Christopher Chianese was charged with arson, criminal mischief and third-degree burglary. Prosecutors say Chianese broke a window at the town hall and illegally entered the building with an intent to commit a crime. Chianese has been free on 100-THOUDSAND dollars bail and living with his parents in New Jersey. Before the fire Chianese was upset about two DWI arrests and how his New York Chiropratic College standing and getting his chiropractic certificate would be affected. All the counts are felonies. The arson charge carries a prison term of five to 15 years in prison.
