The song says “Every Picture Tells A Story”, and if there isn’t a picture- there’s STILL a story. Starting today portraits of Seneca County leaders will be put on display at the Seneca County Office Building. Artists were summoned to create the portraits as a way for the county to celebrate its 200th anniversary. Seneca County Sheriff Leo Connolly, Seneca Falls Village Police Chief Fred Capozzi, State Senator Michael Nozzolio, 10 town supervisors and four village mayors all had their portraits done. MISSING are portraits of Waterloo Police Chief Doyle Marquart and the four “at-large” elected supervisors from Seneca Falls and Waterloo. No reason why their portraits are missing, The rest of the pictures will be on display on the main floor of the county office building through mid-December.
