The case against 32 year old Brian DeBeer has gone to an Ontario County jury. He’s the Ontario County man accused of hindering prosecution for helping his wife, Stacey DeBeer, bury the body of one of their infant children in a five gallon bucket filled with concrete. Closing arguments took place this morning. Yesterday, Brian DeBeer testified that his wife was a good mother, and had told him the infant was stillborn. Stacey DeBeer was brought to the courtroom from Bedford Hills State Prison, where she’s serving 30 years to life for second degree murder in the deaths of two of the couple’s children, but she was not called to testify. Brian DeBeer faces up to seven years in prison.
