A Seneca Falls village police officer has been fired and another has been suspended for three days for misconduct and violating department rules and regulations. The village Board of Trustees met in a special excutive session last Thursday and voted to terminate the service of officier Robert Noone and suspend for three day without pay officer Jamie Buffone.The actions were recommended by Police Chief Fred Capozzi who declined to comment on details related to the officers.Noone has been with the Seneca Falls Police Department since 1997. It’s not known if either Noone or Buffone will file a grievance with the police officers union.
