Mike McLaughlin drove the #25 Team Marines Ford to a 10th place finish Saturday afternoon in the Target House 300 at the California Speedway.The Waterloo native started the race in 17th place and except for a late race bump from Kyle Busch, McLaughlin ran a clean race leading to the 10th place finish. It’s the second race for McLaughlin driving the Rensi Motorsports #25 Ford. He finished 12th last week in the night race at Bristol.Greg Biffle got the better of fellow Nextel Cup regular Casey Mears in a thrilling late-race duel to win Saturday’s Target House 300. With the win, Biffle completed a season sweep in California and tied Kyle Busch for the series lead in wins with five. Kevin Harvick was third.It hasn’t been announced if McLaughlin will continue to drive the Team Marines Ford. We got a hint during a post race interview when McLaughlin told NBC that he was proud to represent the men and women serving their country and hopes to get the car up front for them next week.
