Seneca Falls Fire Leaves Family Homeless

A Seneca Falls family is homeless following a fire last night. Just before 11pm-Firefighters from Seneca Falls, Waterloo, and Red Jacket battled a house fire at 33 Mynderse Street. Seneca Falls Poilice say all four people at the home escaped unharmed. The home is owned by 45-year old Wesley Luffmann. Also at the home were 19-year old Jamie Luffman, 22-year old Jesus Gabriel Fantauzzi, and a six month old child. The Seneca County Fire Investigation Team is still searching the rubble for the cause of the fire. The Red Cross is assisting the family. The home was insured. Monday night’s fire was just a block away from the scene of a fatal Walnut Street fire that claimed the life of a Seneca Falls man last month.
