The search for an 18-year old Ontario County man who escaped from Sheriff’s Deputies Wednesday is over. Austin Taro was arrested in Cayuga County. Auburn city police picked up Taro driving a stolen truck. He stole the truck and a cell phone from East Bloomfield. Taro was on the run for about 24-hours after he was arrested in Ontario County on a warrent for petty larceny. He escaped when he told Ontario County Sheriffs Deputies he had to go to the bathroom. He was let out of a police car and then ran into a nearby wooded area.
