The Village of Union Springs is seeking a temporary restraining order to prohibit the Cayuga Indian Nation from constructing a bingo hall. The Cayugas would like to convert the former NAPA Auto Parts Store in Union Springs into a high stakes bingo hall. The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma announced plans to construct a bingo hall in Aurelius, but the tribe has since announced its intentions to build a full casino.
