Two Wayne County men have been arrested and charged with breaking into caskets at the Marion Cemetery in February. Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 32 year old Raymond Roberts and 31 year old Richard Boutwell, both of Marion. They’ve been charged with felony burglary and cemetery desecration. Investigators say the men entered the Chapel at the cemetery and removed two caskets, including one containing the body of a young child, and took them to Roberts’ home. The Sheriff’s Department says the arrests are the result of information from the public.
