Canandaigua soldier in plane crash

(Canandaigua) – A Canandaigua Navy solider has been released from a hospital after a crash off the cost of San Diego. According to Canandaigua-News.com, Lt. Matt Janczak is a radar intercept officer, assigned to a Fighter Squadron in San Diego. He was one of two aircrew from the F-14D Tomcat that crashed on March 29th. Janczak is doing fine and is expected to be returned to the U.S.S. John C. Stennis.
