Waterloo Church to host conference on missions

A missionary conference will take place on the weekend of April 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at the Waterloo Baptist Church on Route 96 next to Skoi-yase Elementary School. The theme of the conference will be “We Are Ambassadors For Christ” with the thematic verse from Scripture being from the book of Ephesians 6:19: “And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.” The conference will feature speakers working in the mission field currently being supported by Waterloo Baptist Church. Sessions will commence on Friday, April 2nd at 6:30 PM, on Saturday, April 3rd at 9:00 AM, and on Sunday, April 4th at 9:45 AM. A closing service will be held at 6:30 PM on Sunday evening. Highlighted activities include a Men’s Breakfast meeting at 9:00 AM followed later in the day by a Ladies Tea Party at 2:00 PM. There will be a session focusing on children and teens at 6:30 PM Saturday night. At 9:45 AM on Sunday the topic will be “Witnessing With Gospel Tracts” followed by a dish-to-pass lunch at 12:30 PM. Gospel messages will be delivered at 6:30 PM on Friday and Saturday evenings and at 11:00 AM on Sunday morning.The conference is intended to be a time of worship and fellowship as well as a time of sharing information directly related to the mission field. Each missionary will offer a visual presentation of their experience in the field. A time of worship-in-song will precede the presentations of each missionary.
