Time Warner – Where’s Syracuse?

Where are the Orangeman? National champions and no televison coverage for the first game of the Big East season. Finger Lakes Time Warner cable subscibers saw rodeo coverage instead of the Syracuse-St. John’s in the Carrier Dome.Last month, Fingerlakes1.com broke the story that most of the Syracuse Big East schedule would be seen on the WB16-WRWB-TV in Rochester. The problem Wednesday night is while that channel is listed in all the recent Time Warner publicity, the channel is not included the current TVline up. My television skipped from channel 15-the “reserved for future educational use” channel to channel 17-QVC.Confusing SU channel surfers was the fact that the on-screen cable guide listed the game on channel 51- MSG (Madison Square Garden channel), but just after tip-off time we’ve gotta see this- rodeo and racing video clips! Here’s the phone number to call and complain 585-756-1000 or visit the Time Warner website to lodge youre complaint. Hopefully Time Warner will fix the problem by Saturday when Syracuse hosts Boston College.Tonight- turn on the radio or listen on line at syracuse.com Go Orange!
