Bryan Jacobson (JAKE), is an Ithaca, NY, based musician. JAKE is an accomplished solo artist that delivers remarkable guitar work and vocals. His CD “AMERICAN FOLK” introduces two original songs with twelve classic folk/rock favorites. JAKE leaves his audiences feeling centered through the simplicity of one voice and one instrument.JAKE performs in environments with a relaxed atmosphere for the audience to enjoy music. His easy listening style lends itself to venues in which he can serve as the background to conversation or entertainment for active listeners. He creates a magical reverie that takes the listener away from their daily thoughts. JAKE does this by performing familiar songs by popular artists and his original works that embrace the human experience.JAKE was born and raised in the Corning area. He performed in public regularly from an early age. Local fans may recall his staggering guitar leads in the rock band “BLAKE”. JAKE has often performed at Corning’s “A FESTIVAL OF ART”, Market Street Brewing Company, Arcadian Estate Vineyards, and other regional venues. After a successful career as Head Nurse of the Intensive Care Unit at Ithaca Hospital JAKE agreed to help develop the hospital’s Information Services Department.
