Three soap box derby racers from the Finger Lakes were eliiminated Saturday in the World Championships underway in Akron, Ohio.13-year old Eric Coryell of Waterloo and 11-year old Megan Cahill of Auburn both placed second in their heats in the first round of the stock competion.10-year old Nathan Hughes of Skaneateles won his first round competition in the super stock division, but finished second in the second heat.The world championships continue today.
