Our friends Ron and Harriet Booth have a daughter, Daphne, housed along with many other soldiers at Baghdad Airport, who reports that our military would greatly appreciate reading material. Ron and Harriet and another daughter, Suzanne of Duvall Jewelers, are collecting paperbacks to send to the soldiers in Iraq. Anyone wishing to donate paperbacks may drop them off at Duvall Jewelers on Lower Fall Street (#28, across from the library and preschool) Wednesday through Saturday from 10 to 5, or at the Booth’s house at 13 Adams Street.
